EFFECTIVE PORE & SEALED PORE RATE

Effective Pore Rate and Sealed Pore Rate are obtained
according to the following procedurers:

 1. Boil the same test pieces which were used in the
    Parafine Content Test, with hot water for two to four
    hours in a beaker.

 2. After natural cooling, take the test pieces out of 
    the beaker, and wipe off the moisture on the surface
    with dry cloth.  Measure weight (W2) of each test piece.

 3. Measure the exact length and diameter of each test
    piece, and calculate its volume (V) in cc.

 4. Calculate the Effective Pore, Density and Sealed Pore
    Rate of each test piece according to the following
    formula:

       Where,
              W, W1: Weights obtained from Parafine Content Test     
      
                  S: Specific gravity of Ingredient
